*Yoga 

After prayer in chapel we had yoga class. All were asked to assemble in auditorium for the same. Sir taught us many asanas so as to improve our health, mental and overall development.

* Technology seminar

Then we had seminar session of technology . 

*optional class

Then we had optional classes. Today we discussed about the Bloom' s revised taxonomy. Then, we had seminar presentation of Parvathy about the topic Teacher initiated method . 

*Psychology 

Ma'am discussed  about the theories of development after lunch vreak

*Philosophy

Then we discussed about realism in Maya maam class. 

George sir conducted internal assessment on health and physical education .

Welcome back

February 23, 2022

After a break, first years and second years came back to college.Second years after their teaching practice  and we the first years after the school induction program in various schools.

To welcome us, ma'am gave us a treat. Usually, get-togethers in a family,  make the bond between the members stronger. 

Thank you ma'am for showing such a care and love towards us. 

Last day of our school induction

February 22,2022

We reached Navajeevan Bethany vidalaya before 8:30 pm and we were asked to wait in L.P section office because of the virtual annual day program recording . 

*Took class for X std

Sujitha ma'am accompanied me to class and she introduced me. After that I took class as well as revision of last chapter - OUR ENVIRONMENT.  It was a nice session as the students were interactive. After the class I requested for feedback form and by reading those gave me motivation and happiness.

*L. P Class observation 

Then we had observation and interactive sessions with L.P students. The way of teaching, classroom environment all were student friendly,  and each class is with bulletin boards,  white and green boards etc. 

After Lunch break,  we visited physical education room,  principal and concerned teacher fir feedback. 

The whole day and the induction program gave us happiness and moulded us . 

Without hesitation I could say,  my baby steps gave me an inspiration for my teacher

School Induction day 4

February 21,2022

We arrived school at 8:30 am  and waited in the conference hall. 

We moved to our assigned classes. 

# observation class

I had observation class in VII A which was took by Annie ma'am. Only 9 students came to school while others attended online. The class was very active. 

Her warm good morning gave a positive energy to all students.  The revision was on chapter : Cell.  Ma'am asked them to ask questions they have prepared to other students and they had a lively revision.

After that, I came back to conference room and made discussion regarding the following things to do. After lunch we had group discussion on report writing and went to visit physical education lab but we couldn't see trainer. After that,  we continued with our discussion.

Sujitha ma'am assigned a revision cum interactive session for XB students .

School Induction Day 3

February 19,2022

We reached Navajeevan school by 8:30 am and after prayer we moved to our respective classes as per timetable. 

First hour was for IX B and Sujitha ma'am conducted revision on the chapter : Why do we fall ill?. Almost 6 students came to school while the remaining students attended online. Ma'am also mentioned about the art integrated projects and reminded them to do with available objects. 

She used different colour chalks on board to teach them. Ma'am also mentioned about the case study questions they need to be through  with. 

After that in IX A,  I conducted revision class for both online and offline students.  It was a good experience and the students responded well.  They even cleared their doubts. I was a bit tensed but the feedback of Sujitha ma'am gave me happiness and I had a whale of a time. 😊😊

Then for the next 2 hours we prepared report and discussed on the same.  After lunch, we discussed our experience and left the school after national anthem.

Each day we  are moulding ourselves to become a good teacher. The teachers of Navajeevan school were very interactive and the words of Sujitha ma'am made me confident. 

School Induction day 2

February 18,2022

This was our second day of school induction on Navajeevan Bethany School. 

We reached the school by 8:30 am and we waited in the conference hall  Then To put a halt to our waiting,  one of the teacher came and informed us about the assigned classes and we moved to our respective classes.

The first hour was for IX C and it was revision class for them on the chapter : Why do we fall Ill?. 

At first , Jeeva ma'am interacted with the students and  then gave them the detailed pattern of the exam and important questions. Only some students came to school while others attended online. 

After the class,  I interacted with the students and noted the facilities inside the classroom. 

After that,  ma'am had class on VII E and it was online class.  They also had revision on the chapter - Reproduction in Plants. First,  She asked questions to them and awarded marks to those who answered well.When I interacted with the ma'am , she told me that special attention is given to special kids and all students were active.

Next class was for IX D,  and ma'am allowed me to observe the class. They also had revision on the chapter ' why do we fall ill? ' and she randomly asked questions and many responded quickly.

Ma'am even helped students who were confused with the question. 

After that we visited the physics,  chemistry, biology and computer lab and interacted with the lab assistants. Each lab can accommodate atleast 30 to 40 students and all are equipped and spacious with well ventillated. 

Biology lab had 100s of specimen , about 10 compound microscope, some dissection microscope. The lab assistant also told  that they grew the plants required for the lab and we could see that they are well maintained. We could also see the various biology related chart chart and a  skeleton. 

This day I got 3 observation classes and it was interactive which gave ideas on how to conduct revision, how to help a student to answer,  question pattern, lab arrangements etc.  

Induction day 1

February 16,2022

We are making our baby steps to be a teacher.  As part of our curriculum,  we have 5 days induction program and for that I got Navajeevan Bethany School - CBSE , Nalamchira. We were a group of 15 students and only 13 were present. 

This was our first day at school and we first had meeting with the principal, Shahna ma'am. She told us about  the schedule and other related things and she was very friendly with us. 

We first visted the whole school and took photos. The kindergarden section was attractive with rainbow colors, important quotes and animals.  The park was very child friendly with garden nearby. 

The teachers of other sections  were taking classes both online  and offline. 

These made me remember my schooling and teachers. 

We visited library too and collected data. 

After the lunch break,  we met our respective teachers and requested for the observation class and the class to teach.  She told me that almost all portions are over and only revision classes are going on.  So she asked  me to conduct  a revison class of 9th and observe the revision classes. 

The whole day was good but a bit tired as we had to cover the whole school as part of our visit.
