Preparation for NCTE visit.

 The day started with prayer. 

# First hour -Joju sir 

The class was on teaching in digital era. 

#Second hour - Maya ma'am 

 We had interactive session. 

#Third hour - Shiney maam

Senior shared their experiences about the trip with seniors. 

After lunch, we prepared our class and campus for NCTE visit.

 As part of World Health Day our college along with college Union organized a talk on the topic-  "mental health in education" It was led by Devika S Kumar junior research fellow of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology .

The section started with a prayer and our principal Dr. K Y Benedict sir  and  Dr. Jojo sir facilitated the session.

Then the session continued with the talk of Devika S Kumar and it was an interactive session. The session was informative, and she cleared the doubts of many participants. 

We thank Advithya for conducting such a beautiful session.

As usual day started with prayer, and the first session was taken  by Benedict Sir. Sir continued with the microteaching skills and this session was about Questioning skills. The main sub skills are wording or language, type of questions, Aptness, Probing, Redirection and Appreciation.

After that, sir came to sell hybrid vegetable seeds and he gave a detailed explanation about the conditions which the seeds require, how to plant etc.

Next class was taken by Gibi ma'am and she explained the defence mechanism.  

                 

As it was last offline class before retirement, Maya ma'am came and made a lively and happy session by singing songs, telling her memories with Gibi ma'am and it ended with our photo session. 

After Lunch , Joju sir gave Exam tips.

Then, we had drama competition led by Malayalam Association and college union as part of World drama day.

After prayer, we had optional hour and Bijisha continued with her seminar. The seminar was on "components of teaching skills".

After that Archana ma'am took a revision class on Intelligence and its type theories.

After that, Ancy ma'am took class on Forbes method of teaching. Then we had thanksgiving holy mass.

Its the duty of humans to save their mother Earth,  rather than destroying it which we presently doing. As Gandhiji said, " there is everything for human needs but not for his greed". 

March 21 is observed as International  forest day,March 22 as World water day, March 23 as World meteorological day and March Tuberculosis Day. For all these observance days,  HORUS, Natural Science assosciation conducted program "Gaea" which included informative videos,  'Who Am I'quiz,showed dance shot while we were in Sambranikodi and speeches. 

Finally distributed prizes for the winners of quiz.
